Greenville East Rotary Club is a 100% percent Paul Harris Club, meaning that every member has been recognized for giving at least $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation.

On June 30, Paul Harris recognition was presented to Karen Henry, Susan Wallace, Janice Butler, Jim McManus, Wes Wilbanks, Doug Van Scoy, Steve Hawley, and Andrew Vogel.

Contributions to the Foundation help fund our local project with Autistic children as well as help feed hungry children worldwide, provide clean water, and many other humanitarian needs.

Greenville East made a donation of $2000 to the Hope Academy in September 2006. The academy is a school for autistic children. The club received a matching grant through District 7750.

Vocational Service Award
George Blevins, Greenville County Veterans' Affairs Officer, was the recipient of the Greenville East Rotary Club's Vocational Service Award for 2004-05. Club member Debora Faulkner made the presentation at a banquet on June 6, 2005.

Youth Exchange students
Theresa Johnscher, left, was a 2005 summer youth exchange student from Lingen, Germany, hosted by the Greenville East Rotary Club. She is shown with Jennifer Davis, a student at J.L. Mann High School in Greenville who early in the summer was an exchange student to Lingen. Jennifer is the daughter of Greenville East Rotarian Gary Davis.
